Get Notified the Second Products Come Back in Stock
Build an AI agent that monitors sold out products 24/7 and alerts you instantly when they become available so you can buy before they sell out again.
What You'll Build
Your AI agent will continuously check stock status on products you want and notify you the moment they become available. It can:
- Monitor any product across stores like Amazon, Best Buy, Target, Walmart, and brand websites
- Check stock every few minutes to catch restocks before items sell out again
- Verify real availability by attempting to add items to cart, not just checking status text
- Send instant alerts via SMS, phone call, or push notification with direct buy links
Before You Start
- An Everna account (sign up at app.everna.io)
- Product URLs for items you want to track
- SMS or phone service for instant alerts (recommended)
- Payment method ready to buy immediately when alerted
How to Set It Up
Create Your Agent
Go to app.everna.io and click New Agent. Name it something like "Stock Alert Bot" or "Restock Tracker".
Define What to Monitor
Tell your agent exactly what products to watch, where to check, how often, and how to alert you. Here are three real world examples:
Example 1: High Demand Product (GPU, Console, Sneakers)
"Monitor this NVIDIA RTX 4090 at these stores: [paste URLs for Amazon, Newegg, Best Buy, B&H Photo]. Check stock status every 3 minutes. Do not just read the text, actually try to add to cart to verify it's really available. When ANY store has it in stock and you can add to cart, immediately send me an SMS and call my phone. Include the store name and direct purchase link. Keep checking until I tell you to stop."
Best for: Hard to find items that sell out in minutes
Example 2: Multiple Products Watchlist
"I'm waiting for these 5 items to restock: [list products with URLs]. Check each one every 15 minutes. When any item comes back in stock, send me an email with product name, store, current price, and purchase link. Rank items by priority (item 1 is most important). If multiple items restock at same time, send one email listing all of them. After an item restocks and stays available for 24 hours, stop monitoring it."
Best for: Shopping list of items you'll buy when available
Example 3: Size/Color Specific Monitoring
"Monitor this specific t-shirt in Medium size, Navy Blue color only: [product URL]. Check Nike.com every 10 minutes. Ignore other sizes and colors. When Medium Navy Blue is available, verify the size selector shows in stock, then send me a Slack message in #shopping channel with screenshot of the product page and quick buy link. Also check if it's available on third party retailers like Zappos or Nordstrom."
Best for: Specific product variations that sell out quickly
Connect Required Tools
Enable the tools your agent needs to check stock and alert you:
- Web Browser - Visit product pages and test add to cart
- Instant Notifications - SMS, phone calls, push notifications, Email, Slack
- Screenshot Tool - Capture proof of availability (optional)
For critical items, use SMS and phone call alerts to ensure you see the notification immediately.
Launch and Prepare to Buy
Click Create Agent to deploy. Your agent will start checking stock immediately. Have your payment method saved in your accounts so you can checkout in seconds when alerted.
Most restocks sell out in 5-30 minutes. Be ready to buy immediately when you get the alert.
Best Practices for Stock Monitoring
Check Multiple Stores Simultaneously
Products often restock at different times across retailers. Monitoring 5-10 stores dramatically increases your chances of catching a restock quickly.
Verify with Add to Cart Tests
Some stores show "in stock" but won't let you add to cart. Have your agent verify by attempting to add the item to cart, not just reading the status text.
Use Aggressive Check Frequencies for Hot Items
For extremely limited items (new GPU launches, limited sneakers, PS5 restocks), check every 2-5 minutes. For normal items, every 15-30 minutes is sufficient.
Setup Multiple Alert Channels
Send alerts via SMS, phone call, AND push notification. This ensures you see the alert even if your phone is on silent or you miss one channel.
Keep Payment Info Saved
Save payment and shipping information on all stores you're monitoring. When alerted, you need to checkout in under 2 minutes for high demand items.
Monitor Restock Patterns
Many stores restock at specific times (eg. Best Buy often restocks at 9am EST on Tuesdays). Note patterns in your logs and be extra ready during those windows.
Common Issues and Solutions
Getting false positive alerts
Some stores show items as available but they're actually not. Update your agent to verify by adding to cart. Also filter out "notify when available" buttons which are not actual stock.
Item sells out before I can buy
Increase check frequency to every 2-3 minutes. Use phone call alerts for instant notification. Have payment info pre-saved. Consider monitoring store mobile apps which sometimes get stock earlier.
Not receiving any alerts for weeks
The item may not be restocking at those stores. Expand your monitoring to include more retailers, third party sellers, or international stores that ship to you.
Agent gets blocked by store websites
Some stores block automated checking. Reduce check frequency to every 15-20 minutes. Use residential proxy services if needed. Focus on stores with better bot tolerance.
